TANKERHOOSEN WATERFALLS/DAM  -  PAGE 5
hmmmm....sounds like an Indian name to me? what do you think?
This is an excellent spot for visitors to take their photos here and have the falls as a backdrop and then send these photos back home to family.

This little red house is located right next to the
Tankerhoosic Waterfalls.   The illustrated drawing
below is from Agnes, a woman in France who visited here Fall 1999.  She was so overwhelmed by the beauty in the fall foliage that she decided to do this painting and give it to me.  People who don't experience the autumn, don't know what they are missing.
A little tidbit to read.
Tankerhoosen Falls is located off Rt 30 take Dobson Rd. across overpass, take first left onto Campbell Rd. go to the end of the road at the stop sign, and you are there, the street in front of you is Phoenix St. and the falls are across the street.  Many people do not know it is there. There are no signs for it.  I found it by driving around. The repairs are finished, see photo below.
I used this spot for my photography project in college to take a double image.  If you would like to see my double image with the waterfalls and an antique car with a GHOST in the photo, then you can, by clicking here.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
The above ink drawing is by Agnes Perrucioni who lives in France.

If you would like to see some watercolor paintings of the old Rockville mill's waterfalls by a Rockville resident, Ellen Smith Fagan, you can go to her website on my links page under Art.  She does nice work.
