The Capitol Building, a Fountain near the Capitol, an Arch Tower, Views from the Travelers Tower, & the Wadsworth Antheneum.
Elizabeth Park is located in Hartford near the West Hartford town line. There are 15,000 plants and 800 varieties of rose bushes.  Best time to
visit is the month of June.  See website for historical photos.

Views from the Travelers Ins. Co. Tower

Capitol Building - opened in 1878.

Corning Fountain erected in 1899 in the Bushnell Park with a Native American theme of the Saukiog Indians, the city's 1st inhabitants.
The fountain is 30 feet tall.

Soldiers & Sailors Arch - dedicated in 1886 for those who served in the Civil War (Gothic & Romanesque rival monument with its terra cotta frieze).

Wadsworth Atheneum - founded in
1842 by Daniel Wadsworth.  The building is a Gothic Revival style.
